The scrap metal collection warehouse for individuals and legal entities is located in Riga, Rencēnu Street 32, Riga.
Scrap metal purchase from individuals
When delivering scrap metal, individuals must carry an identity document - passport or ID.
The minimum scrap metal purchase batch is not less than EUR 15.00 in total. Scrap metal is purchased according to the price list of SIA SANEKSS METĀLS, and prices may vary depending on the volume of delivery.
From 01.01.2012, a personal income tax of 10% is deducted from individuals' income from scrap metal sales and transferred to the state budget.
The scrap metal acceptance is documented in accordance with legislation. Payment for the delivered scrap metal is made to the account specified by the individual.

SIA METALEKSPO does not accept any type of scrap metal with significant natural, oil, concrete, chemical, or other hazardous substance contamination.
We do not accept scrap metal under the following conditions:
1) All types of metal cans with contamination, such as paint, oil, other chemical or natural impurities;
2) Explosive items - shells, grenades, mines, shells, loaded cartridges, etc.;
3) Gas cylinders, fire extinguishers, and other types of containers containing hazardous gases and chemicals;
4) All types of pipes, barrels, tanks with significant contamination, such as sewer pipes with significant contamination, as well as barrels with oil, bitumen, concrete (cement mixers), fuel, and other hazardous chemical solutions;
5) Water meters from individuals;
6) Transformer stations as well as various parts of them from individuals;
7) Sewer covers from individuals;
8) Railway tracks from individuals;
9) Road signs from individuals;
10) Cemetery monuments, plaques, borders, icons, crosses, or their parts from individuals;
11) Electrical wires, telecommunication wires in accordance with current legislation:
- Scraps and waste of copper (or its alloys) or aluminum (or its alloys) wires (diameter – 1.5 mm or larger, with or without insulation);
- Scraps and waste of twisted copper (or its alloys) or aluminum (or its alloys) wires (individual wire diameter – 1 mm or larger, with or without insulation);
- Scraps and waste of cables and wires containing the above-mentioned wires;
- Scraps and waste of ropes containing copper (or its alloys) or aluminum (or its alloys) wires (diameter – 1.5 mm or larger);
- Scraps and waste of copper (or its alloys) or aluminum (or its alloys) wires or cables with a nominal cross-sectional area of 85 mm or larger;
- Copper wires with a rectangular profile and rectangular profile copper products from individuals;
- Multi-pair electronic communication network cables with copper strands with a diameter of 0.3 mm to 1.2 mm.
