Copper Granules: Choosing Grade A, B, C or D

A practical guide to Metalekspo copper granule grades for smelters, refiners, and secondary copper producers.

Copper granules are supplied in several copper-content ranges so industrial buyers can match the material to their recovery process, input specification, and commercial target. The correct choice depends on the required copper level, acceptable residual material, planned processing route, and shipment documentation.

Copper granules - Grade A covers a typical Cu range of 98.6-99.3%. Copper granules - Grade B covers 96-98.5% Cu and is listed with a monthly capacity of 300 tonnes.

For recovery processes designed around copper-rich mixed granules, review Copper granules - Grade C, with a typical range of 85-95% Cu, and Copper granules - Grade D, with typical Cu content of approximately 60%. These products should be evaluated against the buyer's technical process rather than treated as interchangeable grades.

The grade indicates a typical copper-content range, not a guaranteed composition for every shipment. A useful quotation request should state the target grade, expected monthly volume, destination, packaging needs, and required analysis or transport documents so Metalekspo can confirm the batch specification and commercial terms.
