1. What cookies and browser storage do
Cookies are small values stored by your browser. Similar technologies can store information on your device or access it when a service loads. These rules are not limited to cookies. This policy covers the Metalekspo website, operated by SIA Metalekspo, registration number 40003440140, VAT number LV40003440140, Rencenu str. 32, Riga, LV-1073, Latvia.
2. Necessary storage
metalekspo_consent is a first-party preference cookie set by this website only when you save a choice. It contains the notice version, whether you allowed external media, the choice time and its expiry time. It does not contain your name, email or an advertising identifier. It is available on the current website hostname and expires after 180 days. A new saved choice replaces the previous value and starts a new 180-day period.
__cf_bm is a security cookie provided by Cloudflare and observed on the public hosting response. It helps distinguish automated requests from ordinary traffic and protects the website against abuse. Cloudflare states that it expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity. It is not used by Metalekspo for advertising.
The preference cookie is used solely to remember and honour your privacy choice. Necessary hosting or security measures may also be applied by the hosting provider to deliver the site or respond to malicious traffic, including a clearance cookie when a security challenge is triggered. Such necessary measures are not advertising consent and cannot be used to authorise optional content. Cloudflare's cookie documentation describes its security cookies and applicable lifetimes.
2.1. Hosting-platform cookies
cf_clearance is a Cloudflare security cookie which records a successful security check. A fresh public-site browser check found it with an expiry of approximately one year. Its lifetime is controlled by the hosting configuration and may change. __cf_bm and cf_clearance can be set before you make an optional-media choice because they serve hosting security rather than the YouTube player.
The Sites hosting platform also sets __Host-appgarden-visitor, a host-scoped, Secure, HttpOnly browser identifier. The public deployment checked on 14 October 2026 gave it an expiry of approximately 90 days. It is set by the hosting service before the Metalekspo consent window is used and is not controlled by our optional-media setting.
The hosting provider's precise purpose and lawful classification for this persistent visitor identifier require confirmation. It must not be interpreted as consent to advertising or analytics. Contact Metalekspo for the current hosting-processing information. This inventory discloses the observed cookie; it is not a claim that every hosting-layer identifier is exempt from consent.
3. Optional external media: YouTube
Provider: Google / YouTube. Purpose: showing Metalekspo's production video. The player uses youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed mode. Before consent and an explicit Play action, the website shows a locally hosted photograph and does not request the player, its thumbnails or its resources.
After you allow external media and press Play, Google receives your IP address, browser and device information, referring website and viewing activity. It may access or store cookies and other browser identifiers. Privacy-enhanced mode limits personalisation; it does not remove all data processing or guarantee anonymous viewing. Google may process data outside the EEA.
Third-party storage names and lifetimes can vary with the player version, browser restrictions and your Google account settings. Google's cookie information explains its service identifiers and their purposes and lifetimes. Metalekspo does not control or read cookies on Google's domains.
4. Analytics, advertising and other categories
The current website code does not install analytics, advertising or personalisation trackers. These categories are not offered as fictional consent options. Allowing external media does not authorise adding Google Analytics, advertising pixels or unrelated services later. A change in purposes or providers requires an updated notice and, where applicable, renewed consent.
5. Accept, reject, select or withdraw
The privacy window offers Accept all, Reject optional and Save selection. Optional external media is off by default. Rejecting leaves the catalogue, contacts and enquiry forms available. Accepting remembers your permission but still requires you to press Play before the YouTube player loads.
Use Cookie settings in the footer or the controls below to change your choice. Withdraw optional consent disables the YouTube embed immediately. This stops further loading or interaction through this website; it cannot erase data already processed by Google or delete cookies on another domain. You can additionally remove existing third-party cookies through your browser or Google account controls.
A missing, malformed, outdated or expired choice is treated as no optional consent. You will be asked again. If your browser prevents saving the necessary cookie, the choice applies to the current visit only. A direct Watch on YouTube link takes you off this website; Google's own settings and policy apply there.
